Funders

Safety4Sisters is always grateful for new funding partnerships, which helps us to meet the increasing demand for our specialist support services.

We would like to extend our thanks to all of our existing funders, who enable Safety4Sisters to provide empowering support to migrant women victim/survivors of gender-based violence. We have outlined some of our generous funders below.

Funding priorities

Safety4Sisters is committed to providing holistic frontline support services that meet both the crisis and long-term recovery needs of migrant women with NRPF who have experienced a spectrum of violence and abuse. We also committed to bringing about systemic change by challenging the systems and structures that create and perpetuate harm to migrant communities, specifically women. Your funding could therefore help to sustain:

  • Crisis frontline service delivery

  • Therapeutic and recovery frontline service delivery

  • Strategic campaigning and advocacy, which is informed by the lived experience of migrant women victim/survivors.

The impact of this support is both lifesaving and lifechanging for the communities we serve – funding, both in the short-term and long-term, is essential to sustaining this impact and ensuring that migrant women are able to secure their human rights to safety, freedom, justice, and dignity.

The values we look for in funders

Safety4Sisters is grateful for funding, but we will not accept support that could compromise who we are. With every new funding partnership, we put our mission and our values first.

We want to work with funders that approach funding through an anti-racist, feminist, and intersectional lens, and that illustrate through both their words and actions that they are committed to equity, justice, and fairness.
