VAWG ADVOCATE

£29,439.00
You will provide information, advice, support and advocacy work on all forms of gender based violence faced by migrant women, including forced marriage, rape and sexual abuse, honour based crimes and related issues such as immigration/asylum and no recourse to public funds, matrimonial and children, housing and homelessness, mental health and financial matters. Your casework will focus on women with complex needs.
We strongly encourage Black and minoritised women and/or women with first-hand experience of the immigration system to apply. Due to the nature of our work the post is restricted to women. The Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010 applies.
